Scope
This privacy policy explains which personal data we process on teefvitaeplus.com, what we use it for, whom we disclose it to and which rights you have. The Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG/DSG) is primarily applicable. As we may also offer goods to customers in the EU/EEA and/or use marketing and analytics tools, the information in the section “GDPR addendum for persons in the EU/EEA” also applies to data subjects in the EU/EEA.
Additional information: The website has technical interfaces/components for additional services (e.g. external media, maps, social media integrations, security/anti-bot functions, analytics/marketing). Depending on their configuration, these services may be loaded only after you give consent through the consent tool or only when you actively use the relevant function (e.g. playing a video, loading a map, using a form, selecting a payment method). You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings.
Categories of data processed
Depending on how you use the website, we process in particular:
Technical data: IP address, date/time, pages accessed, referrer URL, browser/device information (server log files).
Contact/communication data: name, email, telephone number, contents of your message.
Contract/shop data: name, billing/shipping address, email, order contents, payment status/transaction data, customer account data including order history.
Marketing/tracking data (only with consent): cookie IDs, events/conversions, usage and device information.
Additional information (security/abuse protection): Where security mechanisms (e.g. anti-bot measures) are enabled, additional technical data (e.g. interaction/request data, timestamps) may be processed to detect and prevent abuse.
Hosting (Hostpoint, Switzerland)
The website is hosted by Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland. Server log files are processed in this context to ensure operation of the website, analyse errors and prevent attacks.
Additional information (purpose/basis): Processing takes place in particular to ensure stability and security, analyse errors and prevent attacks and abuse.
Cookies & consent management (Borlabs Cookie)
We use Borlabs Cookie to manage your consents (cookie banner). A technically necessary cookie is set to store your choice. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings (footer link). Statistics and marketing services are loaded only after you give consent.
Additional information (categories/logic): We typically distinguish between (a) essential/technically necessary functions (e.g. storing consent choices, shopping cart/checkout, security functions), (b) functional services (e.g. language settings, convenience functions), (c) statistics and (d) marketing. The cookie settings in the banner show which services are active in a given case.
Security and abuse protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Where enabled, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (provider: Cloudflare; depending on the arrangement, Cloudflare Germany GmbH or the Cloudflare group of service providers) to protect our website/forms against automated access (bots) and abuse. Technical data (e.g. IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, interaction/request data) may be processed to distinguish legitimate from automated access.
Additional information (legal bases): Processing takes place to protect security interests (preventing abuse and ensuring operation). Where the GDPR applies to persons in the EU/EEA, we rely on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Where access to terminal equipment/cookies is required, it occurs as part of essential security functions or in accordance with your consent setting.
Spam/bot protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
Where enabled and, depending on the configuration, only after consent, we may use Google reCAPTCHA to check whether entries are made by humans. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. Data including the IP address, mouse movements, time spent on the page and browser/device information may be processed and transmitted to Google.
Additional information (EU/EEA): Where the GDPR applies, processing is based, depending on the configuration, either on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in preventing abuse; access to terminal equipment is managed accordingly through Borlabs.
Shop / orders (WooCommerce)
When you place or initiate an order with us, we process the data required for this purpose (e.g. name, billing/shipping address, email, products ordered, communications) to fulfil the contract and comply with legal obligations (e.g. retention requirements).
Additional information (WooCommerce cookies): WooCommerce generally sets technically necessary cookies to provide basic shop functions (e.g. shopping cart, checkout, session and, where applicable, security functions). These are necessary to use the shop.
WooCommerce – Order Attribution (attribution of order sources)
Where enabled, we use “WooCommerce Order Attribution” to record the source of an order (e.g. campaign/referrer, visit source) for internal analysis aimed at optimising our sales channels. For this purpose, short-term information (typically session-based) may be stored in the browser and attributed to the order when it is completed.
Additional information (EU/EEA): Where the GDPR applies, we rely, depending on the configuration, on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysis/optimisation) or, where access to terminal equipment is not essential, on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) in accordance with the Borlabs setting.
Customer account
If you create a customer account, we process the data required for it (e.g. name, email, password hash, addresses, order history) to provide and manage the account. You can request deletion of the account at any time; order/invoice data may continue to be stored because of statutory retention obligations.
Loyalty programme / automatic customer discount (customer account required)
Registered customers automatically receive a customer discount:
5% on the first order through a customer account,
15% from the second order through a customer account.
For this purpose, we process account information and order history to determine eligibility for the discount and apply it automatically at checkout. A customer account does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter.
Payment processing (Stripe, TWINT, MF Group (POWERPAY), PayPal)
To process payments, the data required for this purpose is transmitted to the relevant payment service provider, depending on the selected payment method (e.g. transaction data such as amount/currency/order number, payment status and, where applicable, billing/shipping data; technical data such as IP address/device information may also be processed). The respective providers are independently responsible for their specific data processing, any risk/fraud prevention and identity/credit checks.
Stripe: Stripe is used to process card payments and other payment methods offered.
TWINT: If you choose TWINT as a payment method, payment is processed through TWINT or the TWINT payment provider/acquirer we use.
MF Group / POWERPAY: If you choose POWERPAY, the data required to process the payment is transmitted to MF Group; depending on the product, an identity/credit check may be carried out.
PayPal: PayPal payments are processed in accordance with PayPal’s terms.
Additional information (integration/scripts): Depending on the technical implementation, payment service provider scripts may be loaded to display payment methods or only when a method is selected/the payment process starts. Where cookies/similar technologies are used or information on the device is read, this occurs as a technically necessary step for payment processing or in accordance with your consent setting.
Depending on the provider, processing may also take place outside Switzerland; where required, we ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers (e.g. standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, adequacy mechanisms).
Shipping (Swiss Post and DHL)
To deliver your order, we transmit the necessary data to the shipping service you select (name, shipping address and, where applicable, email/telephone number for delivery information if you have provided them).
Contact (email/form)
When you contact us, we process your information to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. We generally store enquiries until they have been fully dealt with; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
Additional information (security mechanisms for forms): Depending on the configuration, forms may use security mechanisms (e.g. Turnstile/reCAPTCHA) to prevent abuse.
Newsletter (MailPoet) – only with consent (double opt-in)
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email (and, where applicable, your name) on the basis of your consent. Subscription uses a double opt-in process. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the newsletter. Clarification: A customer account does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter.
Tracking / audience measurement / remarketing (only with consent)
If you have given consent, we use the following services to analyse usage, measure conversions and optimise advertising:
Google Tag Manager (GTM) (tag management)
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (audience measurement/analysis)
Google Ads (conversion tracking/remarketing)
Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram conversion measurement/remarketing)
These services are loaded through Borlabs only after consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings.
Additional information (transfers to third countries): For providers such as Google/Meta, transfers to third countries (especially the USA) cannot be ruled out. Where required, we base international transfers on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses and/or applicable adequacy mechanisms) and additional protective measures implemented by the providers.
Map and location services (Google Maps / OpenStreetMap)
Where enabled and/or after your consent, we may embed map content. Loading a map establishes a connection to the servers of the relevant provider; in particular, the IP address and technical usage data may be processed.
Google Maps: Provider Google Ireland Limited, Ireland.
OpenStreetMap: Map data/provider OpenStreetMap; depending on the technical integration, a connection to external servers (e.g. tile servers) may be established.
Additional information (EU/EEA): Where the GDPR applies and the integration is managed through Borlabs, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Multilingual content (WPML)
Where enabled, we use WPML to provide multilingual content. A cookie may be set to store your language choice.
Additional information (EU/EEA): Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing multilingual content in a user-friendly way, or is an essential function, depending on the specific configuration.
Popup/notice functions (Popup Maker)
Where enabled, we use popup functions (e.g. for time-limited notices/promotions). A cookie/local storage entry may be set to control their display (e.g. “notice already seen”).
Additional information (EU/EEA): Where the GDPR applies, processing is based, depending on the configuration, on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where managed through Borlabs, on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Social media & YouTube
Social media: For ordinary links, the privacy policies of the relevant providers apply as soon as you open their platforms. Embedded content/plugins, where used, are loaded only after consent.
YouTube: Playing embedded videos may result in data transfers to YouTube/Google; where configured in this way, the embedded content is loaded only after consent.
Additional information (Vimeo): If Vimeo videos are embedded and you have given consent or actively play the video, a connection to Vimeo’s servers may be established; personal data (e.g. IP address, device/browser information, usage data) may be processed. For persons in the EU/EEA, this is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where managed through Borlabs.
Additional information (X/Facebook/Instagram – embedded content): If content from social networks (e.g. posts/feeds/widgets) is embedded and you have given consent, loading it establishes a connection to the servers of the relevant providers; the IP address and technical usage data may be processed. For persons in the EU/EEA, this is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where managed through Borlabs.
Recipients, processors, international transfers
We disclose personal data only insofar as necessary for operation, contract fulfilment, payment, shipping, newsletters or, with consent, marketing/tracking. Recipients may include, in particular, hosting providers, payment service providers, shipping providers, newsletter service providers and analytics/advertising platforms.
International transfers: Depending on the service provider, data may be processed outside Switzerland (e.g. in the EU/USA). Where required, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, adequacy mechanisms) and/or rely on protective measures implemented by the providers.
Additional information (providers according to consent tool): Depending on the cookie settings selected, providers such as Cloudflare, Google, Meta, OpenStreetMap, Vimeo and payment service providers (Stripe, PayPal and others) may be recipients of data.
Retention period
We store data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.
Additional information (guidelines): Server log files are generally retained for a limited period for security and error analysis and are then deleted or anonymised, unless further retention is necessary to prevent/investigate attacks.
Data security
We use TLS/SSL and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Your rights (Switzerland)
You may exercise rights of access, rectification, objection and other rights under the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG). Please contact us using the details above. The competent authority in Switzerland is the FDPIC (Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner; EDÖB).
GDPR addendum for persons in the EU/EEA
Where the GDPR applies (in particular because we offer goods to persons in the EU/EEA and/or use tracking), the following information also applies:
Legal bases (GDPR): Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for statistics/marketing tracking.
Access to terminal equipment/cookies: Statistics/marketing only after consent (through Borlabs). Access to terminal equipment may be necessary for functional/essential services (e.g. shopping cart/checkout, language settings, security functions); the classification is shown in the cookie settings.
Data subject rights (GDPR): Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21), withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3)) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77).
